10- Terror Attack at Tulsa

In the late 1830s black Americans along with Indigenous Americans showed up in what would be later called, Tulsa Oklahoma. Though, amidst racial violence motivated by colonist takeover, the land was settled and by the early 1900s the newly freed slaves made it into what some call, Wakanda before there was such a thing. Black people living, learning, prospering and doing better than even white residents of nearby cities. But in 1921 this city was burnt to the ground in one of the United States’ most vicious and unreported, racially-motivated, terrorists attacks this country has ever seen. And I bet you never heard so much as a whisper about it in history class. Or anywhere else for that matter!
